Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Data Insights

This priority includes data and intelligence relating to children in London with special educational needs & disabilities (SEND).
The direction of our SEND work is led by the ALDCS SEND Steering Group. We run regional and sub-regional events for colleagues across the SEND partnership, share best practice in SEND across the region, and work with the DfE to ensure that London Local Authorities have their views represented at a national level. LIIA are the recipient of the DfE RIIA grant, which goes to all regions in England to fund SEND improvement work.
SEND Dashboard
This dashboard draws on publicly available data published by the Department for Education on special educational needs, both in the school census publications and the SEN2 collection publications.
A provides a variety of views of this data, tailored (where possible) to give a London Borough and City of London view of SEND within each Borough and the City of London.
