Leadership in Colour Reference Group

This network is a regional support structure reporting directly to ALDCS and acting as a Critical Friend on Anti-Racism & Disproportionality.

Who is part of this network?

Each London Local Authority has a nominated representative included with the group, though all professionals who are part of the associated Leadership in Colour BALI programme are welcomed. As a key partner, Staff College also support the facilitation and direction of the group.

Membership eligibility

Children’s Services professionals working in a London Local Authority, who are directly involved in the Leadership in Colour programme or the BALI training programme.

Management and Governance

Reports to ALDCS directly and acts as a Critical Friend on all areas of Anti-Racism & Disproportionality.

The leads are now Jacquie Burke (DCS, Hackney) and Beverley Hendricks (Assistant Director Safeguarding and Social Care, Haringey).

When do we meet?

Meetings are undertaken every 8 weeks.
