The ALDCS Social Care Practice Leaders Group was formerly known as the Assistant Directors of Social Care Network.
This group improves children’s social care practice to secure better outcomes for children, young people and their families; promote anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practice; develop and support people working in children’s services, strengthen strategic partnerships, regional arrangements and practice; provide a strong voice on strategic and policy developments affecting children’s social care and early help; provide peer support and mutual aid.
The group consists of the senior children’s social care leader in the local authority.
