London SEND Summit

The London SEND Summit is held annually to respond to national policy developments in SEND.

Project Goals

LIIA’s yearly SEND Summit is a crucial gathering where colleagues from the SEND Partnership in London come together to discuss important issues and build connections. In 2022, we talked about the DfE’s SEND and Alternative Provision Green Paper and worked together to respond to it as a united London team. The next year, in 2023, we focused on the DfE’s SENDAP Improvement Plan, identifying both the challenges and opportunities it brings for London. In 2024, the Summit gave us a chance to discuss the Change Programme Partnerships with colleagues from Health, Local Authorities, National Government, Parent Carers, and other partners, exploring the possibilities it brings.
