London SEND Summit

The London SEND Summit is held annually to respond to national policy developments in SEND.

Project Goals

LIIA’s annual SEND Summit allows colleagues across the SEND Partnership to come together, build relationships across London, and discuss national policy developments in SEND. In 2022, the SEND Summit allowed us to draw together views on the DfE’s SEND and Alternative Provision Green Paper, to co-ordinate the pan-London response to proposals. In 2023, the SEND Summit gave attendees the opportunity to discuss the DfE’s SENDAP Improvement Plan, and identify challenges and opportunities which the proposals will bring for London.
