Support the survivors of domestic abuse and their children in safe accommodation – draft strategy for public consultation ending on 21st November 2021.

Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation Consultation

The Mayor’s draft domestic abuse safe accommodation strategy was launched on 5 November 2021 for consultation.

The strategy sets out proposals that will contribute to meeting the Mayor’s vision that all survivors of domestic abuse, including children, are able to access and be supported by safe accommodation-based services, tailored to their needs, to enable them to move on with their lives. The strategy, produced in line with the Mayor’s new duties under Part 4 of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, is just one part of a wide range of action that the Mayor is taking to make London a safer city for all.

Many of you will have given your views and input as part of the extensive and in-depth consultation during the development of this draft strategy. We now welcome further views on the strategy during this consultation period, which ends on 21 November 2021.
